Basics of Columbia Harbour House
Columbia Harbour House is a quick service restaurant at Magic Kingdom specializing in seafood. Guests on a Walt Disney World Dining Plan will spend one quick service credit for an entree and a drink from the restaurant.
The restaurant is typically open from 11AM until one hour before park close. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and has an identical menu for both. As a counter service restaurant, it does not take Disney World Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs).
The location is very easy to miss. It is entirely indoors, so you won’t just walk past people eating there. It is located in Liberty Square across from Memento Mori (the Haunted Mansion store) on the path between Fantasyland and Liberty Square (the path actually goes under some of the restaurant seating).

Columbia Harbour House Menu
Columbia Harbour House’s main focus is seafood, with some chicken offerings as well. Combo platters allow you to mix it up, including the trio platter: a combination of Fried Shrimp, Chicken Strips and Battered Fish served with Hushpuppies and a choice of Green Beans & Carrots or French Fries.
Quick service seafood isn’t too common in Disney’s theme parks, so if you’re looking to escape your typical pizza / burger / hot dog routine, this might be a good option.
The lobster roll is probably the most famous item, and also the most expensive. For a lighter option, go with the fish sandwich or one of the many salads.
As always, we recommend mobile ordering rather than waiting in line. If you don’t mobile order, you’ll order from a register and pick up your food at the counter.
Seating at Columbia Harbour House
All of the seating is inside. There are two floors of seating in several different rooms. The building is designed to somewhat reflect what an 18th century New England building would look like.
In some ways, my experience with seating here is the exact opposite of what I’ve experienced at Casey’s. I always feel like Casey’s doesn’t have enough seating, but I never have a problem finding a seat.
Various rooms are often roped off, so that even though there is enough seating, you might not be able to find a seat. This is frustrating because I love the food, but I’ve had difficulty finding a seat at all hours because during off-hours they rope off large sections of the restaurant.
Our favorite seating in all of Magic Kingdom is the section on the second floor that overlooks the path from Fantasyland into Liberty Square. It’s great for people watching and just a fun spot to have a meal.
Theming
Columbia Harbour House is themed to 18th century New England, with a focus on boats. There are tons of cool elements in the restaurant, from model ships to old maps to ship’s wheels.
Along with Casey’s (themed to baseball), Harbour House is a restaurant where fans of a certain type can really geek out. I’m not a boating person, but I love checking out the different maps and other artifacts.
Conclusions
Besides its seafood and chicken menu, the big draws at Columbia Harbour House are the theming and its indoor seating. On hotter days, you can trust you won’t be the only one to think to visit the restaurant, but it still tends to be a good option as long at they keep all of the seating open.
Outside peak hours and on cooler days, the restaurant sees significantly fewer crowds because it doesn’t quite shout its presence like some of the other restaurants. But as I’ve noted, much of the seating gets cut off during these times.
