Update on Genie+ and Lightning Lane Prices (Disney World)

Some posts have not yet been updated to reflect the recent changes to Genie+ and Lightning Lane prices detailed on this page. We’re working on updating the posts, but here’s what you need to know…

Beginning October 2022, the prices of Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes at Walt Disney World will vary more from day to day. For example, in October Genie+ will range from $15 to $22, depending on the day, and the Individual Lightning Lane for Rise of the Resistance will range from $15 to $22.

In general:

• You won’t know the exact price of Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes in advance

• Expect Genie+ to cost at least $15 per person per day

• Expect Individual Lightning Lanes to range from $10 to $25 each

• Christmas week will probably see the highest prices of the year

Because pricing will correlate with crowds, this generally won’t immediately change our recommendations as to whether the service is worth it, although we are always keeping an eye on that question.
